South San Francisco, Ca. FTE

Our direct client is looking for a Software Product Manager to help develop Life Science, SaaS Apps . This is a full time job near SSF, Ca. And is a great opportunity to get into commercial life Science Software Industry. Also, you will work in a Research Development Group in a successful, growing, profitable software company.



Position Overview:

The Technical Product Manager manages implementations of products that require technical expertise, focusing on how the product works; works closely with internal technical teams to write user stories and requirements; works with R&D management to keep projects resourced appropriately and on time; performs as the “technical bridge” between business and development teams.

Responsibilities:

•         Primary point of contact for all technical issues related to the product line.

•         Translate product strategy and product requirements into detailed technical requirements and prototypes/POC.

•         Manage product release cycles while promoting and enforcing Agile ceremonies.

•         Suggest solutions to the R&D Development team with consideration for product roadmap.


Qualifications:

•         Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering; 3+ years in a product or project management, software engineering or related roles,

•         life sciences/healthcare industry a +

•         Strong ability to understand and communicate technical software concepts, with technical and non-technical audiences

•         Experience of Scrum, JIRA/Confluence/Crucible, (ScrumMaster is strongly preferred)

•         Demonstrated expertise in managing software projects from inception through implementation

•         Working understanding of general privacy regulations, preferably in the life sciences industry (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, etc.)

•         High-level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to multi-task.

•         Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professionals.
